These small animals have a large pair of front legs and they resemble a scorpion with a short tail. They are reddish brown.

Pseudoscorpions are predators on mites and spiders outdoors. They occur in wooded areas or sometimes field next to woods. They do not live or breed indoors. When found indoors they may have come in on clothing or on the fur of a house pet.
